Variable speed Reeves drive that will spin your wood from around 600-2400 RPM. Cast iron bed, to counter vibration. Outboard turning allows bowl or platter turning of up to 20" diameter.
Comes with Stand (stamped steel) all hardware to assemble it, and spindle size is 1" X8 TPI, spindle bore is MT #2.
It is dis-assembled for moving, and I can show you the basics to put it back together, plus there are numerous videos on YouTube that can go into full detail.
I can demonstrate that the motor runs, and shifts through the speed selections.
If you want a picture, Google Harbor Freight 12 X 36 wood lathe (#34706). It's the one with a cast iron bed, and the ledge to the left of the drive head for outboard turning, not the cheap one with the square tubular bed.
There are those that will say its a lousy lathe, but it worked for me, both turning spindle work and bowls.
A great Lathe at a low price for those who are just starting out, or who just don't want to spend more...
