At 47, my musical tastes line up naturally with 90s rock, along with funk and jazz-influenced grooves from that era. I also enjoy funk, reggae, Soul Train–style vibes, 70s and 80s funk, and classic hip-hop.
I also bring a unique element with Middle Eastern beats and scales, including 9/8 and 7/8 rhythms, inspired by music from Turkey, Egypt, and surrounding regions. Open to mixing styles or just locking into a solid groove.
