To me, English handwriting, poetry and essay writing can create the most beautiful language in the world. Handwriting and essay writing complimented by a rich, sophisticated culture is "Language Arts". Consider the arts of painting, pottery, glass fusion and the enchanting lifestyle in the arts. Embrace the many possibilities of exploring English language. Learn beginner, intermediate and advanced English conversation, grammar and style. Take internet tours of the historic great documents of history through the ages.
With a Masters Degree in Teaching from Notre Dame de Namur, CA and a BA from the prestigious University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, I have been a tutor for 20 years.
I have taught students of all ages, 2 to 83! Some are interested in essential language tools, and many have achieved over a 1400 on the SAT reading and writing sections followed by acceptances to Columbia, Yale, Princeton, and many more fine colleges .
The tutoring I provide centers on the client’s current needs. In general, my tutoring for middle school students focuses on conversation and handwriting while my high school level tutoring lessons feature grammar like the beginner, intermediate and advanced curriculum suggested by the Oxford University followed by poetry writing. For younger students, I teach interactive arts. Language learning is vital to success in any career.
My fee is $40 per hour. I hope you are ready for a positive experience with language arts and culture! It will be a pleasure to meet you -- It would be my pleasure!
