Vintage Natural Oval Sapphire in 14K Gold Ribbed Step Ring Mounting - $585 (Gambrills/Crofton)

Natural oval faceted cut sapphire in a 14K yellow gold ribbed step ring mounting; total ring weight = 2.36 grams. The sapphire measures 8mm x 6 mm. The 14K stamp on the ring has worn away and is hard to distinguish; however, the appraisal reflects that it is 14K yellow gold (see photo). This was not created in a lab, and is in pre-owned/pre-loved condition. See photos for condition and further description.
This was purchased in the late 80's/early 90's and was appraised in July 2021 at $900.00. Ring box not included. I searched Rubylane.com and other similar sites that sell vintage jewelry to come up with my selling price.
