Plate size 14 - Snyder Super Deluxe is a Forged Aluminum plates and trucks with 7mm steel axles Rubber Cushions and USA Rubber toe stops. All Snyder trucks are 7mm axles only
used and with some signs of wear, including minor scuffs/scratches, but otherwise great condition and excellent working order.
recently taken to skate professionals for inspection and maintenance:
- all new Qube 8 bearings installed
- all new Snyder super deluxe cushions installed
- pair of sure grip carpet insoles installed
- complete set of Snyder super deluxe pivot cups included (but not installed as existing ones in good condition)
Since there are many styles and types, I did not replace wheels or laces as I figured new owner would like to choose their own.
Also, I did not replace rubber toe stops as existing ones still have good meat on them, albeit a little dry (new owner may decide to remove them entirely anyway).
A few notes from mechanic (Chandler at Skate Zone):
- one of the truck mounting bolts is not original, but has been replaced at some point with an adequate replacement bolt - does not affect performance in any way (see last pic).
- Axles in good condition but kneuralls (sp?) worn, so axles will readily comes out of truck housing (hangar) when replacing wheels. Kneuralls (sp?) are "rings" inside the hangar that the axle is tightly pressed into during production to keep them in place. I was informed not a big deal and does not affect performance. I've put a pic of receipt with Skate Zone's number. (I'm sure Chandler would be able to explain the work rendered to these skates and nature of kneuralls (sp?) better than I.)
- One screw missing from toe stop clamp. I will try to find proper/matching replacement as skate shop had nothing on hand in stock.
- No structural or performance issues, just normal minor flaws from age and use
