1971 Boston Whaler 13. This boat was taken down to glass, both outside and inside, faired, primed and painted with single stage Urethane from Total Boat. I tried to keep the classic look but changed a few things to make it more comfortable to ride and just overall more practical. A raised console and driver's bench allowed me to add a 14 gal fuel tank and include a lockable storage area which will hold a lot of items. The inside is done in classic Whaler blue but sprayed with a minimally textured bed liner to increase traction for both humans and pets. The wood is Tiger Wood (Goncalo Alves) that is an exotic hardwood coated with 9 coats of poly. The Tohatsu engine is a 2020 model 30hp with 57 hrs on it and it runs fantastic. The dash has a tach as well as a built in Garmin GPS. Aside from the steering wheel, everything on this boat is new when built in July 2020. The boat does have a bimini, full custom storage cover and all cushions. Title for boat and trailer in hand. We used this as a tender. The only reason for selling is we now just needed something a little bigger to allow us to carry the grandkids around with us.
