Rare Fiberglass 27-foot sloop, designed by Edwin Monk and Robert Perry and built in Washington state. It has a fin keel that draws 4.5 feet. This 1979 Sun Yacht with a Yanmar 1GM10 (9hp diesel) is well built with a solid 1 inch think fiberglass hull. This motor replaced the original motor at some point (I’m not sure when), and the hour meter is only showing 335hours. With very little corrosion showing, this motor is in very good condition. I have been restoring the boat for five years and unfortunately need to move my sailing adventures up north.

Here is a list of projects completed:

· Replaced many components in the Yanmar Diesel, such as the motor mounts, primary fuel polisher and secondary fuel filter, raw water filter, pump impeller, anode.

· Removed and sanded the bottom paint, repainted with a first and second coat of barrier coat and then two coats of Interlux BottomKote. I have 2/3 gallon to recoat before launching the boat.

· Painted the original black topsides with two new coats of Interlux black Topkote.

· Replaced the two operable ports and replaced the plexiglass fixed lights and restored the aluminum frame before rebedding the frames in sealant.

· Re-upholstered all of the interior cushions and replaced most of the foam. The cockpit cushions are in very good condition.

· Replace the battery controller, and guts of a new electrical cabinet. Additional wiring is needed.

· Replace the salon lights with LED task lighting and strip lights. More lighting is needed.

· There is a working VHF marine radio but needs an antenna.

· Refinished the counter tops in the galley and head.
