19' Flying Scot Daysailer. [Sail # 3746] with galvanized trailer, 2 suits of sails, spinnaker, full custom boat cover [by The Sailor's Tailor] and all owners' manuals. This boat has always been dry-sailed and has never been bottom-painted. The original [light blue] gel coat is showing some fading and the decks are showing some crazing, but she is in sail-away condition and will provide many more years of sailing pleasure.
Designed by Gordon K. Douglass, the Flying Scots is widely recognized one the most successful class racing and day sailing boats in history. First built in 1958 and still in production [new ones sell for $35,400 today] the Flying Scot is extremely stiff [resistant to capsizing] yet will plane in 10 knots of wind with 2 people aboard.
