I’m reluctantly putting my 1967 Seafarer 31 up for sale, designed by Bill Tripp. She has a full keel with wheel steering, with tanbark sails and a roller furling genoa. I sailed her engineless for several years, but this year repowered her with a Universal M12 diesel engine.
The bottom and topsides were painted before launch last June. She needs some cosmetic upgrades, but nothing major. She has a porta potty head, but could be plumbed for a flushing head if a tank is added. 31' overall, draws 4 1/2 feet. Mast height is also 31'. Comes with cushions, sail cover, awning, tanbark sails as well as an older set of white sails with a smaller furling genoa.
I would be glad to show potential owner the how to sail the boat. I can also deliver it or help deliver it a reasonable distance on the Chesapeake.
I’ll try to add some interior pictures later.
Note that this model differs significantly from the Seafarer 31 you’ll find on sailboatdata.com as it has a full keel, shorter mast, and wheel steering.
