Local Tennis Club/Camp for Intermediate+ Players (AA County)

I�m interested in getting a few intermediate players (at least NTRP 2.5+) who would be interested in forming a local tennis camp-like club. Maybe you�re like me who has seen the ads for those camps in Florida or California, but time and cost are too high. The idea behind this group would be to get out on the court on a periodic basis (perhaps monthly or more often) and focus on learning and practicing rather than just hitting around or playing games.

Perhaps we could make this similar to an investment club where a group member would research a particular tennis technique/strategy (like volleying, backhand overhead, poaching, types of serves, etc.) then provide a lesson to the group for us to practice for that meeting. There are a lot of books available at the library and web sites (like About.com/tennis) that can provide lots of learning material. Plus, everyone would be able to critique each others� progress. Lessons could be based on singles or doubles play.

So again, I�m looking for others who are more-seriously interested in improving their tennis knowledge and skills and not someone who primarily only wants to get out and play.

I really just don�t get it. I�m a decent guy, soon to graduate college and I just don�t seem to have whatever it is that females look for in someone they�d want to date. I thought about it and I�m not a druggie, I don�t drink, I don�t have any children, etc. Yet over the past three years the only people I�ve managed to get dates with were either girls who already had kids from previous relationships/marriages, fat girls, and ones with depression or some of psychological problems.

So, what do you suggest?
